As a Cost Analyst you will be responsible for a variety of analysis and reporting activities, as well as taking part in projects related to cost control within the company. This includes tracking of actual performance, budgeting and forecasting of our operations, as well as supporting management to realize synergies and promote cost awareness throughout the organization. We believe you are the right candidate for this role if you have a natural commercial and analytical mindset, and thrive in a result-oriented and dynamic environment. You will operate as a business partner with a dedicated responsibility for a functional area within the organization, and will become part of a highly competent team reporting directly to the Head of Cost Management.

Main tasks and responsibilities 

  • Establish a framework for Cost Analytics – overview, follow-up and reporting
  • Contribute in establishing Nordic framework for cost awareness and facilitate processes in the different functional areas
  • Support Cost Team in budgeting, budget monitoring and forecasting
  • Identify and realize synergies
  • Align and enhance cost reduction initiatives
  • Promote cost awareness throughout the organization
  • Deliver presentations and conduct ad hoc analysis for the Org & Cost area



Qualifications

  • Master degree in Finance or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience from relevant consultancy or similar
  • Strong financial analysis and calculation skills
  • Good business understanding and accounting interest
  • Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Very good communication skills - English written and oral

Where are we?

The Nordic organization currently has its head office at Lysaker in Oslo, and we also have an office in Stavanger. Of the more than 1,300 employees in the Nordic organization, around 600 are located in Norway. Our other Nordic offices can be found in Stockholm, Copenhagen and Helsinki.
