Otovo is Europe's leading platform for solar systems. Our goal is to make the purchase and installation of solar systems for private households as simple and affordable as possible, thus driving the energy transition in Europe. Since our founding in Norway in 2016, we have continuously developed a successfully expanded into 8 additional European markets.

In February 2021, Otovo was listed on the Oslo Euronext Growth Stock Exchange, setting the course for further expansion. We are now searching for our new Country Lead Scandinavia to lead the team into the next stage of evolution.

Otovo is on an exciting journey, currently focused on building its sales organization in Scandinavia. As the renewable energy sector experiences rapid growth and European countries set ambitious sustainability targets, Otovo is well-positioned to capture significant market share. To achieve our growth ambitions, we seek a Country Lead to elevate the sales team in Norway and Sweden. In this position, you will be instrumental in shaping Otovo's growth within these markets. Your role will drive the sales team's expansion by standardizing and optimizing processes. Your leadership will be important for Otovo’s success in both countries.

As Country Lead, you will oversee sales efforts in Norway and Sweden, steering the team through the next development phase. As a hands-on, operational leader with a strong focus on data-driven decision-making, your influence will be key in enhancing sales operations and ensuring sustainable growth. You will also contribute to the long-term strategy for both markets while actively fostering key partnerships and representing Otovo externally in select engagements. This will help solidify and expand our presence in the region.

You are hands-on, operational, and data-driven in your approach, and you identify and seize opportunities for business growth. You are not afraid of challenging the status quo and enjoy exploring unconventional solutions to make even better results.


Your responsibilities

  • Lead our team of sales consultants
  • Planning, implementing, and managing our sales strategy
  • Be the point of contact for external and internal sales-related inquiries
  • Implement proven tactics from existing markets on the NO/SE market, and strive for best practices within the team
  • Monitor, optimize, and report on the performance of sales with analysis and assessment toward goals and objectives
  • Collaborate cross-functionally for an optimal and seamless customer and brand experience


What you bring

  • At least 5 years of experience in sales and business unit management
  • Proven success in building and developing sales teams
  • Courage to challenge the status quo and find unconventional solutions
  • An analytical and data-driven approach to problem-solving
  • Continuous improvement and optimization of processes through process-oriented thinking
  • Ideally experience in a fast-growing scale-up environment
  • Fluent speaking and writing level in Norwegian and English, and strong knowledge of Swedish
