At Monil, we´re a team of ambitious entrepreneurs, engineers, and innovators committed to transforming modern farming. Our virtual fencing collars are already helping 600+ farmers manage livestock more efficiently, saving time, money, and stress. Our cattle collars are designed and produced in Norway, and sold directly to farmers in Norway, the UK and soon globally.
You will be our first dedicated sales leader, responsible for driving sales in Norway while helping shape how we grow internationally. You´ll work closely with out CCO to improve our sales strategy, coach new team memebers, and build a structure that delivers consistent results across markets.
Our product consists of the cattle collar, a software subscription, and excellent support. In Norway, we work with a customer group that is curious, constructive, and genuinely fun to engage with. Leads are warm and farmers are already familiar with Monil and interested in learning more. But scaling stil requires structure, follow-up, and a personal touch. We need someone that can lead this effors, but also actively close deals.
What will your main responsibilities be?
Drive sales through farmer and organization outreach and personalized and consistent follow-ups
Build and lead a sales team in Norway, and contribute to building teams and growth in other markets. Hit ambitious sales targets, and take the lead on getting us there.
Develop a sales playbook and figure out what works, what converts, and what to stop doing.
Represent Monil at demo days, fairs, and key customer meetings.
Own the sales stack including HubSpot, Shopify, and future tools. Use data to track progress and identify opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with marketing to ensure lead quality and align timing, messaging, and effective follow-ups.
Support international expansion and lead first outreach, close early deals, and help hire our first team.
Who are we looking for
You have experience in leading high-performance sales teams, ideally with a technical product that requires a hands-on sales (B2B or B2F (farmer))
Strong communicator and team builder. You can coach, inspire, and lead by example.
You like being close to customer and closing deals yourself.
You either come from farming, or know how to build trust with farmers.
You thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. You take full ownership of your work and use insights to drive outstanding results.
Confident using data to understand what is working and improve sales performance.
Bonus: You have worked across multiple European markets and know how to adapt your playbook to local realities.
You are flexible in terms of traveling. Travel to the UK and US is expected
What success looks like after 6-12 months
We are hitting our sales targets and you have made the right adjustments to get us there. We have made key hires in Norway, and maybe also in the UK and US. Our sales system is clear and structured and we can track progress efficiently. And last, but not least, you have helped shape how Monil grows, without losing what makes us trusted by farmers.
