Layer 1

Finance Director

Credo is a different investment company. We focus exclusively on scaling up mature, mid-sized companies with high potential for value creation. We partner with investors and entrepreneurs to transform local companies in business services and technology into scalable and sustainable business systems.

We are a Norwegian company focused on the Scandinavian market. Currently, we are invested in 11 companies with 6BNOK in revenues. We bring the right people together and fix the basics before scaling fast. We have been training the team for operational DNA and true partnerships for over 10 years, 20 platforms, 70 add-ons, and 7 exits. We optimize structure, culture, and game plans specifically for small caps.

With a growing portfolio and increased internal complexity, we are strengthening our team with a Finance Director. In this role, you will own the development of a scalable, modern operating model for Credo. Your mission is to secure financial overview and control and ensure quality and consistency across our operating model, enabling the investment team to focus fully on what they do best. You will work closely with partners and investment professionals, and play a key role in shaping how we scale our business in the years ahead.

Our Investment Philosophy

Scaling up businesses

Credo's investment philosophy remains steadfast: We partner with investors and founders to transform mid-sized companies into scalable and sustainable business systems. The core of what we do is captured in our tagline: scaling up businesses. This investment focus is distinct in terms of business maturity and partnership model, as well as the potential for high value creation.

Our industries

We focus on business services and technology.

Established methodology

Our basic approach is the same across industries and across financial and non-financial goals. Together with our partners, we set high ambitions that force our businesses out of the small-cap zone. Then we build the foundation for scale and impact: (i) a focused strategy, (ii) a scalable business model, (iii) an organization for tomorrow, and (iv) effective governance.

Culture and continuity through founder partnerships

Credo invests alongside highly motivated entrepreneurs, family owners, and management. We encourage our partners to remain large co-owners, even majority owners, to ensure the continuity of the magic recipe that made the company great in the first place. Our model is based on long-term and close cooperation between management, board, and owners to ensure continuity and commitment through the transformation phase.

Investor network

Credo has an established network of investors. We invest together with individuals and institutional investors who have built successful businesses themselves and have a genuine interest in value creation in mid-sized companies.
